Learn to Fly

Our VISA 'Learn To Fly Camps' are two hours and are designed to introduce young girls and boys to the exciting sport of Nordic ski jumping. Certified coaches and team athletes will help your child achieve flight! Suggested ages 6-13 years.

Summer 2010 Visa Learn to Fly

Camp Dates: June 12th, July 24th, Aug 14th, and Sept 24th Summer days 10-12AM and Fall 4-6PM

Cost: $45

*Basic Ski Skills recommended include skiing straight, stopping in control, and using a rope toe ski lift. Your own equipment is recommended but if needed the Park City Nordic Ski Club can provide gear upon early request.

Don’t give up on perfecting your ski skills this summer. Conquer your fear of speed phobia of heights by joining ‘Olympic Caliber’ staff in one of many introductory ski jumping classes. Though speed and distance will be slow and short in the beginning, participants will be able to progress from the smallest ski Bump not Jump to the parks junior jump complex where leaps of 20’ are possible in the introductory camp.

Parent-Athlete Manual

NSF publishes a Parent/Athlete Handbook each year which outlines rules, regulations and procedures of our club. It is the reference manual for our program. We encourage parents and ahtletes to review the manual every season to clarify procedures and answer any questions you may have about the program.
